Kadi v1.0 — We're Live!

After months of development, testing, and late-night debugging sessions, Kadi is officially live at playkadi.com. Here's what shipped in the launch release:

Custom Rules Editor — Play Your Way

Every neighborhood in Kenya has its own Kadi house rules. "We play with 4 jokers." "Aces don't block penalties in our game." "You can finish with any card." We heard you — and now you can configure all of it.

The new custom rules editor lets you toggle 40+ individual settings: penalty values, stacking modes, finisher restrictions, Ace behavior, command card rules, and more. Create your perfect ruleset, save it, and share rooms with those exact rules.

Start a room with your custom rules and share the link — everyone who joins plays by your rules.

Crews Are Here — Build Your Team

Kadi is better with friends. Crews let you form teams, compete together, and climb the crew leaderboard. Each crew has a role hierarchy:

• Owner — Full control. Can promote, demote, and kick anyone.
• Vice — Can manage Elders and Members. Takes over if the Owner leaves.
• Elder — Can manage Members.
• Member — The crew's foundation.

Create a crew from the Crew tab, customize your tag and color, and start recruiting. Crew wars and seasonal rankings are coming next — get your squad ready.

Daily & Weekly Tournaments

Put your skills to the test in competitive tournaments. Daily tournaments reset every 24 hours with fresh brackets, while weekly tournaments give you a longer window to prove your consistency.

• Entry fees in coins (earned from regular play)
• Prize pools distributed to top finishers
• Tournament results contribute to your season ranking
• New tournaments auto-generate daily — there's always something to compete in

Timer Modes & Reward Multipliers

Not everyone plays at the same pace — and that's fine. We've added three timer modes so you can choose your intensity:

• Casual: No timer at all. Think as long as you want. 1x reward multiplier.
• Timed: 3 minutes per turn. A balanced pace for competitive play. 2x rewards.
• Blitz: 30 seconds per turn. Lightning fast — if time runs out, you auto-draw. 3x rewards.

Higher risk, higher reward. Blitz games are intense but pay out triple the coins and XP of casual play.

Game Replays — Relive Every Moment

That incredible comeback where you stacked three penalties? The clutch Ace block that saved you from drawing 10 cards? Now you can relive it all.

Every game is automatically recorded with full action history. After a game ends, view the step-by-step replay showing every card played, every draw, every penalty. Each replay has a unique shareable URL — send it to friends or post it on social media to show off your best plays.
